attended two events last weekend..
one would be my gud-friend turning 21..dont worry i'll join the club21 soon..in about a month or so?aniwaes..din celebrated his berfday at carousel,royal plaza on scotts on 3rd may.was a small gathering with a purple theme.was rummaging thru my wardrobe but couldnt find anitin purple,so i gave up and showed up in black instead..
me and din while having the high-tea.swear that i was sooo bloated!that my buckle almost burst..the food was guud!especially the mouth watering desserts..remembering the bread pudding makes my drool...eerrmm....
hope you lyke my gift!!btw i got him a Royal Selangor photoframe..
the siglap-clanners.those of us whu came and didnt waste the opportunity of dining on din's RARE treat...note:veri few came in purple..wakaka...
later that nite me nas and din went to victoria concert hall for festival tari serumpun..fazli gave me tickets to watch him perform..it was reallie an eye-opening experience..dancers from singapore malaysia and indonesia performing at their best!!
the joget sapu laman(using penyapu lidi)by dancers from karimun,indonesia was soo guud that it kept me at the edge of my seat.it was so perfectly choreograped!!as a whole the indonesians did a great and unique job,another did an item using the traditional tampi..alar that thing u use to seave padi...
it was TRUELY an amazing experience.recommended to watch it the next tyme!!
lets talk about the word TRUE..
was surfing nurul aini's blog and viewd her wedding video.was reallie touched when they related their love true..and her tearing at the end of it..so veri the TRUE lurve gitu kan?
next we always wanna know the TRUTH about things rite?but are we reallie prepared for truth?truth is lyke one bitter medicine thats reallie hard to swallow..coz the past week(s) i've been confronted with several truth about lyfe..both bitter and sweet!!
lets talk about the sweet ones ferst..lyke news about shalmiza's upcoming engagement on the 1st of june..the initial plan to just get married etc changed to an engagement ceremony ferst,we were talking when we realised a TRUTH..we've known each other and been friends for more than a decade alreadie..
remembered all the primary school daes when she's more lyke our big sister(you would've guessed why she's nicknamed godzilla?)gosh,such cruel kids we were back then..wakaka..aniwaes..reallie happy for her..
and nuptials of fellow siglapian,riduan, next saturdae(17th may)most of you would have heard and been told of the invites coz he passed them thru me.and i'm reallie sorrie that i didn't get cards for a few of you..but i knoe you guys are not petty!!and dont mind kan??
which brings me to the bitter side of TRUTH,why must there be hypocrites around??
sumting happened recently that created a hu-ha among this certain circle of friends about a certain gathering..let me give you the rough draft of it!!i called this certain friend out for dinner.since she's the main star of the nyte..i made a point of ensuring that she'll be there before letting the rest knoe..
by course of nature(actuallie its man-kindish)i was stuck in camp for sum last minute tingy so i didnt manage to get everybody for the gathering..since i knoe this another person was told of it.she might discuss with the rest about it..
apparently NO ONE told ANYONE. so my EVERYONE was misinteprated..
resulting in this hu-ha about another person whu is HURT and PIST(based on another person's msg to me)that she wasnt told of the gathering..but seriusly im not dissapointed at the latter even thou i knoe a certain blog entry was SPECIALLY dedicated to me...intentionally or not coz i stumbled upon it...
but im more dissapointed at this person's sudden and unexpected attack to me via text..which i still keep till now..for heavens why i keep it also?berating about my irresponsibility etc siap dengan lyfe lessons lagik..and another person's remark made about me at another source was lyke a sharp knife in my back.funnie,i thot this person who be the more nuetral one..
looking back i can actuallie laugh it off even thou when it actuallie happened i was so SAD that i called the veri person whu this dinner was dedicated to coz i wanna apologise that i wouldnt be attending it coz it has hurt me so that i reallie donno how to react infront of these people when i meet them later...
but why rack up the past rite?
well..i have put everyting behind me but this reallie opened my eyes and see my TRUE friends..
