pardon me for my absence from blogger-dom for the past two weeks..two weeks that was 'supposed' to be my so looked forward term break..am i enjoying it?apart from the kl trip,am not..
so bear wif me aite?thias entry gonna be lengthy..2 weeks crammed into a single entry..
(11th june)my dad's cousin passed away on a very very wet sunday afternoon..it was very emotional i tell you..so the famz were off to tampines for the wake..since it was too late to bury anyway..i couldnt remember much but sitting.sitting.and sitting till my legs were numb..
but i had alot of those: "dah besar eh?", "dah habis sekolah?","dah ns?" and the classic "lebih besar dari bapaknyer"..yada yada..my paternal paternal(my dad's dad) side are made of carbon-copied people i tell you..you turn left,you'll see someone lyke my cousin..you turn right,you'll see sumwan lyke my dad..and the freakiest thing is that i have a second cousin who looked exactly lyke me..to the extend of the joining eyebrows and nose...but till now,i never knew his name..
oh!and sha's granny passed away too..my deepest condolences to your famz eh sha!!
(12th june)was the funeral..didnt help that i had an awfully bad stomachache..luckily the house was opposite tampines polyclinic(where i answered nature's calls)because the kitchen and toilet were used for the bathing of the corpse..
more people who i never knew existed were introduced to me..
we then followed to the cemetery..its getting crampier eh?all due to the scarcity of land..did i mention how hot it was?goodness!baru pat dunia beb...after the burial.we went to arwah tok abah's(my dad's dad) and anggur's(my granny's bro) graves..its been lyke one year since i last went..maybe even more than that..god!my grandad been gone for 6 years..how fast tyme flies kan?
(13th-16th june)the famz were off for kl..to visit my granny.aunt and uncle and at the same tyme to tailor our baju kurungs..notice the kiasu-ism..noting much lar..since we go kl lyke every now and then..just eating.i miss my granny's home-cooked meals..packing,coz my aunts' moving out to a new place next month..watching heaps of pirated vcds..lol..i've even watched scary movie 4 before it was released..wakaka...
(17th june)my 19th berfday barbeque..er special thanks to nass,raq,hajar and din for helping me from the very beginning..nass:for the delicious chicken and clearing up the mess after it ended..
to everyone who came(and those who didnt)thanks for gracing the occasion,helping me to finish the food..the presents..the well-wishes..the gossips and the mess..wakaka..truly appericiated..
it was nice lar meeting all those people who i've not met in ages.literallie..people lyke nadiah,who i last met the day i left primary school and those siglap-clanners who became low-profiled ever since the begining of this year..
i hope i could upload pictures soon..so keep hoping people...
(19th june)i officialie turn nineteen..it was lyke my ferst very very wet birthday..it rained non- stop..but the famz managed to celebrate with a simple dinner at east coast,lagoon..
(21th june)my group went to interview a certain company for market research project..rolls eyes i tell you..if not because we are in a desperate need of a company..i would not have bothered with the company,the first tyme i've met sumwan so so unambitious lar..
